Providing Quality Assurance & Quality Control services for shallow water bathymetry and coastal topographic data acquisition and data processing along the entire East Coast of India,(Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Odisha and Bengal).  Client: National Institute of Ocean Technology, Chennai; Ministry of Earth Sciences, New Delhi.

Summary of work: the NIOT under MoES is implementing a project for topographic and hydrographic mapping of the coastal and offshore zone between +2.0m to -30.0m Chart Datum along the entire East Coast of India covering the states of Bengal, Odisha, Andhra Pradesh and Tamil Nadu to  map the high resolution  morphology of the Bay of Bengal coastal and offshore upto  30m depth which would form the baseline data for  coastal planning, erosion studies, cyclone and tsunami warning studies, coastal inundation studies along the entire east coast of India. Geo Marine along with Aqua Marine, Goa is performing the  Quality assurance , Quality control and the Data Processing of the entire data collected. Five Expert coastal geologists and oceanographers  and twelve Hydrographers are working for this project implementation. The project duration is 2021 and 2022.
