Sand Resource survey in Eight Rivers, Creeks and nearshore of Maharashtra

As a part of Sustainable Coastal Protection and Management Investment Programme (tranche-2) of Maharashtra maritime Board, Mumbai- An Asia Development Bank(ADB)  Loan Project, 2017.  Eight rivers and creeks along the entire Maharashtra coast were studied for  identifying sand resource  for use in beach replenishment. The major work components were Hydrography, Sediment core drilling and geological resource evaluation of sand.
