COASTAL PROTECTION
As members of the Consortium for Sustainable Coastal Protection and Management Investment Programme (SCPMIP) with FCGANZDEC, New Zealand- an ADB-funded project in Karnataka, successfully implemented sustainable coastal protection measures in nine erosion-prone areas of Karnataka State, India. The NH-66 Stretch adjacent to the Seashore at Maravanthe, Karnataka, India stands as a testimony to the effectiveness of sustainable measures of coastal protection.
HYDROGRAPHIC, OCEANOGRAPHIC & MARINE GEOPHYSICAL SURVEYS
Carried out periodic hydrographic surveys for New Mangalore Port Trust since 2019 for 3 years.
Accomplished several small to medium sized projects in the offshore domain for hydrography, geophysical surveys and Oceanography.
Geo Marine has successfully completed the prestigious NIOT (National Institute of Ocean Technology), Govt. of India project for the Quality Control, Quality Assurance and Data Processing for shallow water bathymetry and topographic surveys for the entire Eastern Coast of India.
Side scan sonar surveys sub-bottom profiling was conducted by us for Stage -2 of Karwar Port Development in Dec 2021.
MARINE ECOLOGY AND HYDRODYNAMIC MODELLING
Executed hydrodynamic modelling studies in association with NIT (National Institute of Technology), Calicut, India and Marine Ecology studies in association with MECON, Bangalore, India for the MOEF&CC (Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change) clearance for the establishment of Integrated Coastguard Academy (ICGA) at Kenjaru, Mangalore, India.
