Expertise in Geotechnical and Geohazard Management, Engineering Geology and Landslide Studies. He was associated with different stages of geotechnical investigations for various hydropower projects in India and Bhutan, Landslide susceptibility mapping and slope stability analysis in Himalayas and in Western Ghats. Will be undertaking selection of sites for establishing various components of hydropower projects viz: Dam/Reservoir, powerhouse, and water-conducting systems and also undertake preconstruction, construction and post-construction stages of investigation. Besides, tunnel 3-D logging, face logging, core logging and tackling adverse geological features while on the construction of underground structures. Landslide investigation and slope stability analysis for the distressed sites on-site specifics to ascertain the sites for construction of major civil structures in the rugged terrain. Preparation of DPR for Hydropower and landside projects. Closely associated with the major project of Geological Survey of India titled ‘Preparation of GIS Based Landslide Susceptibility Maps of India’.
