V.K.K Kalluraya – retired as Dy Director General from Geological Survey of India. He has an experience of 33 years in the field of Systematic seabed mapping in western offshore of India. He led geo-scientific team as Chief Scientist in 19 Lakshadweep Seabed Mapping Cruises in the 1990s,onboard the research vessel RV Samudra Manthan and later supervised in the capacity of Dy Director General and Head of Marine and Coastal Survey Division of GSI, various marine mineral exploration projects in the east and west Coasts of India. He is accredited by NABET as Technical Area Expert (Geology) for Mineral Exploration.
