V.K.K Kalluraya – retired as Dy Director General from Geological Survey of India. He has an experience of 33 years in the field of Systematic marine mapping in western offshore of India. He led the geo Scientific team as chief scientist for Lakshadweep Sea Mapping in the 1990s,onboard the research vessel RV Samudra Manthan and later supervised various marine mineral exploration Projects for Marine Sand and Marine Heavy mineral Deposits in the West Coast of India, in the capacity of Dy Director General and Head of Marine and Coastal Survey wing of GSI.
