Geo Marine Solutions
is established by the former scientists of Geological Survey of India (GSI) and National Institute of Oceanography- the premiere earth and ocean science research institutions in India.
Over the past few years
the company has risen in stature as the trusted name in earth and ocean science projects and is now in pole position in mineral exploration, oceanography, marine surveys & oceanography, reservoir studies and geotechnical projects.
We have won prestigious
projects from major organizations like QPMC, Qatar, Al Ruwais Port Authority, Qatar, Doha Port Authority etc. for ocean related studies.
Other international clients include Euro Consult Mott McDonald, FCGANZDEC, New Zealand, for Coastal Zone Management surveys under Asia Development Bank (ADB) funded projects in the states of Karnataka and Maharashtra.
Offshore and on shore
geotechnical investigation and surveying projects like bathymetric surveys, marine geophysical surveys, DGPS surveys, and land surveys are our forte and we have worked for organizations viz. National Institute of Ocean Technology (NIOT) Chennai; Port, Public Works &Inland Water Department, Govt. of Karnataka, National Geophysical Research Institute (CSIR- NGRI), Hyderabad and Israel based Tahal Group(India) on many land and water survey projects.
We are the leading
firm in reservoir siltation studies and carrying capacity estimations in
Karnataka. Govt of Karnataka has entrusted us repeat work orders for Reservoirs viz. Harangi, Ghataprabha, and shortlisted for VaniVilas and Bhadra reservoir siltation studies.
We have also carried out
Mineral Exploration and Resource Evaluation projects for Limestone,
Iron ore, Construction Sand for major clients in India and abroad for the clients Mines and Geology Dept., State of Andhra Pradesh, India, Kudremukh Iron Ore Company Ltd, India.
We have recently
carried out marine surveys and resource evaluation of offshore Sand for Qatar Primary Material Company, Doha, a major organization under the Government of Qatar. Geo Marine is also a member of the consortium which won the Global Tender for Sustainable Coastal Protection and Management Investment Programme(Tranche-II).
